Gravella is my HO scale model railroad layout. Some of it influenced by real world prototypes, while other parts are completely made up. The layout is a work in progress and may never be fully completed. But, after all, isn’t that what a model railroad layout is.

Gravella Rapid Transit is our subway system. The cars are Walthers’ Washington DC Metro (WMATA) units. DCC decoders have been installed along with headlights, taillights and LEDs with the route colors.

Commuter rail trains are Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority units. Locomotives include F40s and GP40-2 as well as a hypothetical AEM-7 painted in the MBTA colors. Cab cars and coaches are Walthers’ Horizon cars and Island Model Works Kawasaki bi-levels.
