Yellow Line

Route Overview

The Yellow Line subway provides service to the Elm Street side of downtown as well as neighborhoods on the northern bank of the river. Elephant Plaza can be reached using the Yellow Line and connections to the Blue and Orange Lines can be made there, as well as an out of system transfer to the “C” branch of the Green Line streetcar. The line shares a tunnel under the river with the Red Line. Transfers between Yellow and Red can be made at River Bridge station. Commuter rail service is available at Prince Street, the eastern terminus of the Yellow Line.
